The restaurant is beautifully located on the market square in Gau-Algesheim and has a very pleasant atmosphere. The cuisine is excellent and creative. The prices are very moderate in relation to the quality of the food.

Delicious food, delicious wine, competent, very friendly service. Unfortunately from tomorrow in collective lockdown.

Always friendly staff in a good mood. Very tasty and imaginative dishes - also to be picked up after ordering by telephone. I can only recommend!!!!

The food was really very good ... and really inexpensive! Not too big a wine list ... but good varieties. Very friendly service. 2 downer: it's a: cool to cold ... so dress warm! And it's loud! Very loud even! Good if you want to make noise yourself .. bad if you want to talk!

An absolute must !! Very tasty food !! It is an insider tip for everyone who appreciates good food. Starting with the homemade salad dressing to the steak, a pleasure. Unbeatable in terms of price.

We absolutely enjoyed the visit to the Elder restaurant. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress and looked after all the time, thank you very much. A big compliment also goes to the kitchen team: whether salad, main course or dessert - everything was done with love and care and just tasted great. We are happy to recommend this restaurant to others.

We ate very well here. Had four different main courses and nothing to complain about. We were served very friendly and unobtrusive. The portions are absolutely sufficient even for good eaters and the prices are reasonable for the quality. We agree - we would love to come back!

The restaurant is clear and decorated with no frills. Dark brown and apple green are colors that have a calming effect but also bring freshness to the room. The service was great! Everything was done correctly, invoice separated without error. Attentive without being obtrusive - here you realize that there were professionals at work. The food was delicious. Nicely arranged - see photos !! The prices are slightly lifted but justified. We would go again and recommend the restaurant Elder only.

Very nice, new restaurant in the middle of Gau-Algesheim. The food is delicious and appealing, see photos. I was there for the first time this year (2019) in January. The occasion was a charity meal in aid of cancer children. Cost 63 €. For this you have received a 5-course menu with great wines from Gau-Algesheim and the presentation of the individual wines by the Weinkönigin of Gau-Algesheim. How I think a great thing and not expensive. Further dates see photo. I would also like to say that the chef introduced himself at the beginning and at the end went from table to table to talk to the guests in person. He is very friendly, as are the rest of the staff. Gladly again.
